What storage unit sizes are available?
Hartland Storage offers unit sizes ranging from 10'x10' (100 sq. ft.) to 10'x15' (150 sq. ft.) to 10'x20' (200 sq. ft.) to 10'x30' (300 sq. ft.), so it's easy to pick a size that works for you. Location will dictate availability.

We welcome all visits to view the storage units available. We do recommend calling prior to your visit to ensure availability.
What happens if I need more or less space after I move in?
We understand that your initial estimate for space may be off. We will be happy to help you select an additional space or transfer to a larger-size unit if needed.
What is the procedure to rent a space?
All rentals can be done electronically via phone. Call us and we can get you set up. You will need to sign the rental agreement to rent a space and can do this via any smartphone or device.
When can I access my unit?
You can access your unit seven days a week, 365 days a year; 24 hours a day
Does anyone else have access to my unit?
No. You are responsible for who accesses your unit. We recommend you let us know if you authorize someone else to access your unit.
Does Hartland Storage provide a lock for the storage space?
No. We do have locks for sale on request and can recommend the best, most secure lock for the best security.
Is there anything I need to do to prepare my unit before I move my belongings into it?
No, your unit will be clean and ready for you on the day you move in.
Is there a minimum or maximum length of time I can store things?
All storage contracts will be a minimum contract of one month. You are renting your space -- one month at a time -- for as many months as you like. You can stop renting at the end of any month. There is no limit on how long you can rent your space.
Do I pay rent for my unit from the beginning of the month?
Whenever you want to begin renting a unit - any day of the week or month - your rental contract will run from month to month and payment is due every 30 days based on your start date.
What is the contract length I’m required to sign?
Each contract, either for personal or commercial storage, is month-to-month. Your contract automatically renews each month.
Will I be required to pay a security deposit?
No.
